How many coatings of primer and paint do they use for kitchen cabenits?

I dunno about ';they';





But I use 2 coats of a primer made for wood (after TSP and sanding of course).





Then 2 coats of paint ( alkyd)





Finally a polyurethane or glaze sealer so they don't yellow.





Sanding with a 220 grit between coats.





Final coat is ';sanded'; with steal wool 00 before the urethane or glaze.





For application I use a small foam or cotten roller rather then spray or brush.How many coatings of primer and paint do they use for kitchen cabenits?
Sand first, then 1 good coat of primer. Then prolly 2 coats of pain until it covers. Allow proper dry time.
