My car is a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T black factory paint, and it is fading on the roof, and top of the trunk. The motorcycle is a 1990 Kawasaki zr550 zephyr, and its been painted over with just regular black primer. What can I do to get both looking sharp again? Because its a DIY project I would like to try and keep it inexpensive. Thanks!My car's roof paint is fading, and my motorcylce gas tank was painted over in primer. Can I fix either?
You are probably going to have to sand it, but be careful. I would use a wet sander with very fine thickness.
