I would simply wash it, then armour all it... who knows, it might turn out nice. Also try: mother's* powerball (for car wheels) with some polish and buff it out. Could save you a few hundred dollars and a ton of prep time!..................if you do paint it, do not sand, and simply spray on, (use high build primer to seal the plastic skins) and paint it the colour.... the skins really aren't make to be painted. I WOULD NOT ATTEMP IT!!!

I just bought a used 2004 Polaris Ranger 500 and I am wanting to pain it What primer & paint should I use.....?
Please if you have ever painted one before let me know what the steps are. Do you sand it, clean it with anything special..... I has a few scratches from trees, I just want to make it look nicer, Please help me out!!
