Can I paint over an acrylic primer with enamel paint?

I bought some grey matt primer to give my plastic model airplane a nice base coat before I continue airbrushing but I hadn't realised it was an acrylic paint until i'd checked the manufacturers website after purchasing! as the rest of my paints are enamel (oil based), im wondering if it's okay to paint straight over the acrylic, or do i need to prepare the surfaces with something first?

thanks for your helpCan I paint over an acrylic primer with enamel paint?
Alternating coats of acrylic %26amp; enamel is always a good idea.Enamel paint will not affect the acrylic primer. I always alternate when i weather my armor models.
