What type of primer paint do you apply to sprinkler pipes?

either on you chose..you need to properly prepare the pipes and use a good primmer( use the one for that manufacturers paint)


and make sure the pipes are not wet..

Why are you wanting to paint them? Don't you bury them? I guess if you need to paint PVC and I have done this personally you can use Krylon paint for plastics. Its a relatively new product but it works really well for that kind of pipe.
