Absolutely. Sand it lightly to give the primer some ';tooth';, then prime, another light sanding, and 2 coats of latex enamel. You will be good to go. Hope this helps. Can you paint veneered wood if you used a primer paint first?
The guys are correct except they forgot to tell you - make sure you buy a primer that says bonds to glass, this way it will ensure your adhesion. Gripper, Kilz or Zinsser makes them well, and sprays. Then after you are finished painting, make sure you seal with a polyurethane or still might peel.
I would say the best way to get the correct answer is to go to your local Hardware or Paint shop. Or call a number in your local yellow pages that refurnishs furnature.
You can but it will not stay on very well. it will come off if you put anything on the veneer. You would get a better result taking off the veneer, rubbing down the wood an painting that
Oh yeah, no problem. like the other guy said, dress the wood with a light sanding and you are good to go.
yep prime first
